The #239 bell found on the C180-239 is a hand-hammered, one-piece bell which produces a dark and big sound with fantastic projection. The sound is projected clearly down the bell and provides a rich tone. The Bach C180-239 is ideal for musicians needing a trumpet for multiple musical settings, including orchestras, solo playing, and jazz.

The #25C leadpipe is an industry-standard leadpipe that offers the perfect level of resistance throughout the range of the trumpet. This resistance is essential for good tuning and note centring. Along with the .462" large bore, the C180-239 C trumpet produces a controlled and clear tone which is suitable for the all-around musician.

Quality American construction

All Bach Stradivarius trumpets are handmade in America by highly skilled craftspeople and artisans. The C180-239 is constructed from high-quality yellow brass which is the most popular material for trumpets. This is because yellow brass produced a very versatile tone that can be performed in a variety of different musical environments. Once the C180-239 has been constructed, it is finished in a bright clear lacquer to keep the instrument looking newer for longer.

The C180-239 features 1st and 3rd slide finger saddles for comfortable handing. The valves in the trumpet are crafted from monel which is a nickel and copper alloy. Monel valves are found in all Stradivarius trumpets as they are smooth, resistant to corrosion, and hardwearing.

The Stradivarius C180-239 includes a Bach 7C Mouthpiece, which is one of the best selling mouthpieces on the market. It offers an all-round sound which is suitable for both the high and low register, while also providing a great tone suitable for all players. As well as this, a hard moulded Bach Case is included. The case is made from a wood shell and padded securely inside to protect the trumpet. All the corners of the case are reinforced to provide extra protection. On top of all this, valve oil and slide grease are included to keep maintaining the instrument a very easy task.

The Stradivarius series

All Stradivarius trumpets are exceptional symphonic instruments. Originally designed and manufactured by Vincent Bach in the early 1920s, all Bach trumpets are still made to the same rigorous high standards. By only using the best quality materials and combining them with proprietary manufacturing methods, the name Vincent Bach soon became synonymous with superior instruments. The name "Stradivarius" originates from the first trumpets made by Vincent Bach himself. Musicians would refer to his original trumpets as having a "Stradivarius", referring to the world-famous string instruments. It was this which later inspired the name of the series - Stradivarius.
