Conn-Selmer have been able to produce the 300EP euphonium to the same high standards as their premium instruments, while keeping it at a cost-friendly price. The 300EH features a .570'' bore for most of the instrument and a .661'' bore in the fourth valve section. This dual-bore design helps to produce notes in the low register with better intonation and articulation. The 12.2'' bell found on the 300EH will project the mellow tone and blend in nicely with any brass band.
Unlike any other euphonium at this price, the 300EH boasts a glorious tuning trigger. Perfect for correcting your intonation when in the extreme high or low registers, this trigger is ideal for both solo and ensemble performances. What's more, to ensure that your main tuning slide doesn't get caught on anything, Conn-Selmer have included a clothes guard to guarantee a seamless action. For the perfect finish, the 300EH has been plated with silver and gold trim for a truly luxurious aesthetic.
Premium materials
Similar to a lot of euphonium, the Conn-Selmer 300EH is made from yellow brass. But what makes the 300EH stand out is the rose brass leadpipe. Essential for producing that sonorous and rich euphonium tone that everyone loves, this rose brass leadpipe will enhance your sound. The stainless steel pistons in the Conn-Selmer euphonium provide a smooth, fast action to help improve your agility and playability. Unlike other euphoniums at this price, the outer slides on the instrument are made from nickel silver. This is because nickel silver is dense and is more resistant to corrosion, meaning they won't flake and are less likely to seize up.
Includes everything that you need
To ensure that you have the best possible experience, Conn-Selmer have included everything you need to get started. To keep the euphonium safe, the 300EH comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case, you will find three riveted handles and a large pocket which is perfect for sheet music. Around the back of the case, you will find the removable backpack straps and transport wheels - perfect for walking to school.
Moulded especially for the 300EH, the Conn-Selmer euphonium fits perfectly inside the case. For an extra touch of protection, the inside is lined with a soft-touch material that won't scratch the finish of your euphonium. At the front of the case, you will find a compartment that is ideal for storing all of your small accessories.
