Vintage sound - effortless playability

The Conn-Selmer Premiere tenor saxophone offers a sound more common to older styles of saxophone performance. It has been designed with slightly higher resistance through the neck and body which allows for a more controlled performance in comparison to its modern-day counterparts. As well as this, it also offers huge versatility enabling you to play a range of genres with minimal effort.

Thoughtfully designed mechanisms

Care and attention to detail have gone into the design and manufacture of the Conn-Selmer PTS380 to create a flexible instrument that is suitable for all players. Adjusting screws on the front F, G#, right-hand stack, and Low C combined with an adjustable right-hand thumb rest allow you to perform to your desired specifications. Metal resonators on the treated leather pads provide a powerful sound all the way through the body. Additionally, the mechanisms themselves have been slightly compacted to enable quicker and more efficient playing.

Included accessories

To ensure that you can look after your new saxophone, Conn-Selmer has included everything that you need to get started. To keep the saxophone safe, the PTS380 tenor comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case, you will find two robust handles. On the front of the case there are two large zipped pockets which are perfect for all of your sheet music and various accessories. Moulded especially for the PTS380 tenor sax, the Conn-Selmer saxophone fits perfectly inside of the case. For an extra touch of protection, the inside is lined with a soft-touch material that won't scratch your sax. There is also a dedicated compartment for any accessories.

Unlike any other saxophone at this price, the Conn-Selmer PTS380 Premiere includes a Rousseau Studio Jazz series mouthpiece. This professional standard ebonite mouthpiece has excellent power and edge with a rock-solid tonal core. Perfect for playing across the entire register, this mouthpiece will always delivery a great response - even while playing altissimo.
