With traditional, hand carved construction and flamed Maple back and sides, the Deluxe 4/4 Cello is an all solid wood instrument, sporting a hand carved Canadian Spruce belly and figured bookmatched Canadian Maple back. For the developing cellist, this means ease of playability and rich tone.
The Deluxe 4/4 Cello continues to build on its traditional roots with a Maple neck. With its ebony fingerboard, progressing players will be able to replicate deft fingering patterns and experience the type of response to their touch that will encourage them onto more innovative techniques.
Included with the instrument is a Brazilwood Bow- a type of wood with great elasticity, making it perfect for instrument bows. Brazilwood is from the same tree as Pernambuco, the wood often used in high grade bows, and therefore shares many of its characteristics.
