The sound of a boutique tube amp, turned up loud!
S-Gear V3 delivers the authentic sound of a cranked boutique tube amp, complete with natural dynamics and studio-quality mic’d cabinet tones. By simply connecting your guitar through an audio interface, you can access a professional-grade sound without needing physical amps, mics, or a treated acoustic space. With accurate convolution-based speaker cabinet emulation, S-Gear offers a wide tonal range, from warm cleans to rich overdriven tones.
The amps
S-Gear V3 features a range of expertly modelled amps inspired by classic designs. The Custom 57 delivers vintage tweed-style tones with simple yet powerful controls, while The Wayfarer blends elements from American amps, offering three channels, tremolo, and a graphic EQ for extensive tonal shaping. The Stealer captures the raw energy of Plexi-style amps, perfect for blues and rock, whereas The Jackal is designed for high-gain, 80s-inspired tones with rich sustain. The Duke provides smooth, dynamic overdrive with a subtle mid-scoop and warm treble response. Each amp includes advanced controls for shaping power amp dynamics, ensuring every note responds just like a real tube amp.
Flexible drag & drop effects rack
S-Gear’s effects rack gives you complete control over your signal chain with a simple drag-and-drop interface. It includes Mod Thing for lush modulation, Room Thing for immersive reverb, and Delay Thing for warm, analogue-style echoes. The ProConvolver unit provides detailed cabinet emulation, allowing you to fine-tune mic placement and speaker response for a truly customised sound. Whether you're shaping vintage tones or exploring new sonic textures, the effects rack makes it easy to experiment.
ProConvolver
ProConvolver uses high-resolution 64-bit processing to deliver realistic speaker cabinet emulation. It includes impulse responses from Redwirez, featuring classic speaker and microphone combinations, and allows for stereo processing, mic placement adjustments, and speaker impedance tuning. You can also import your own impulse responses for expanded tonal possibilities. Built-in EQ controls let you refine bass and treble response, mimicking the warmth and musicality of classic mixing desks. For those who prefer alternative cab simulation, S-Gear includes additional IIR filter options for lower CPU usage.
