Key Features
The QU-Bit Electronix Tone is a quad voltage-controlled filter offering simultaneous low-pass and band-pass outputs. The QU-Bit Tone provides a warm, buttery character and is perfect for creating shimmering, polyphonic textures thanks to its 4 channel design. The Electronix Tone also features self-oscillation, allowing each of the 4 channels to double as a sine wave oscillator with v/oct tracking across 4 octaves. The QU-Bit Tone filter features frequency and resonance attenuators for each channel, allowing you to precisely shape your sound.

Thanks to the 4-channel design, a range of simple and complex patches can be created. Each channel features its own low-pass and band-pass output, as well as frequency and resonance potentiometers. Each of these can be adjusted individually for the channels, allowing you to create an interesting mix between the different channels.
Thanks to the simultaneous low-pass and band-pass outputs, you can mix them together with the different channels to create a range of interesting tones, sounds, and textures. Low-pass allows you to cut the high frequencies out, whereas the band-pass mode allows you to pass frequencies within a certain range, whilst attenuating frequencies outside of that range. Combining these 2 filter options together results in complex and interesting textures.
The QU-Bit Tone can also self-oscillate, allowing it to double up as a sound generator. This occurs when the resonance knobs are turned to their maximum. The frequency knobs can then be used to adjust the pitch. As there are 4 channels, you can use the sine wave oscillators to create a 4 note chord.
