Flexible mastering limiter

Most commonly, a limiter will be used during the final stages of production and mastering within your project to determine a maximum signal level that is strictly adhered to. With ML8000, controlling the dynamics of a full mix when in the mastering stage of your productions is simple and easy. Based on a multi-band design of eight bands, you can set different threshold levels for different frequency bands within your mix, allowing you to set the maximum signal levels individually. Where traditional limiters may result in the "pumping" effect when pushed hard because of low-end information within your EQ curve, with the ML8000 you can tailor your low-end to react differently to the rest of your frequency bands to avoid any over-compression or "pumping".

When working with extremely dynamic mixes, ML8000 provides you with a 'Snap' function that lets you automate the threshold level against the input signal by using a comprehensive look-ahead function to provide you with the most transparent and natural-sounding limiting possible for your tracks and mix.

Perfectly suited to a myriad of genres, ML8000 is extremely transparent with an exceptional transient retention system. Whether you're looking to add punch to an active radio-rock track or looking to provide balance and cohesion to a stripped back acoustic performance, the ML8000 will deliver what you need.

Extensive level control

Not only is the ML8000 Advanced Limiter ideal for mastering, but it also poses an ideal solution for affecting individual tracks. Both stereo and mono versions of the plug-in are available so you're not limited to what instruments you can process with ML8000. With a comprehensive set of controls including Knee, Release, Threshold as well as a "Mode" and "Focus" control, you are able to control the dynamics of individual tracks to create a predictable signal level that will provide consistency within your mix.
