A classic, reimagined
Paying homage to one of the most recognised and favourited synths of all time, the Oddity3 looks to enable a new generation of music makers the opportunity to create the sounds of this classic synth in their productions. It's for that reason that the Oddity3 boasts the same character, sound and response of the original hardware down to the minutia through extensive modelling techniques all while building on the functionality and tonal possibilities.
Adding monophonic and polyphonic playability, a tuneable sub-oscillator, unique X-Modifiers, an enhanced FX section and panning capabilities has brought this once-vintage synthesizer into the modern world. Not limited to functionality but performance features as well, the Oddity sees upgrades with improved Aftertouch mapping, simplified MIDI CC messaging, undo/redo buttons and four new macro controls meaning that the Oddity is a powerhouse either on stage or in the studio, allowing you to fully express and execute the sounds you need for your production.
Explore new ways to manipulate sounds with X-Modifiers
On almost every parameter within Oddity3, GForce have included a unique LFO and envelope modulator, allowing you to create hugely complex and unusual sounds that weren't available on the original hardware unit. Perfect for expressive sound designers looking for an original sound for scoring film and game soundtracks or for exploring what's possible with synths in music making. These X-Modifiers don't fundamentally change the sound of your synth but add some extra 'Mojo', lifting the sound of the Oddity3 to new heights for your productions.
From pretty to gritty
Capable of producing ethereal, soft-pads with tonnes of atmosphere and emotion, the Oddity3 may be thought of as a synth with a gentle nature but this could not be further from the truth. Hosting a range of onboard sound modifiers and effects, the GForce Oddity3 is just as comfortable taking a step to the dark side. Built with raw oscillators and naturally aggressive analog-modelled filters, Oddity3 isn't afraid of getting rough and distorted. For enhanced aggression and character, Oddity3 now features a new distortion circuit with gain and tone controls to dial in perfectly for whatever melody, bass or arpeggio you're performing. For global control over the character of your sound, the newly-implemented Vintage circuit can digitally age your instrument, adding authentic analog inaccuracies to suit your taste. Ranging from subtle to extreme, you can push your Oddity3 to the extreme, causing mass instability for a truly unique tone.
Dive into production-ready tones
Inspiration at the speed of sound, Oddity 3's preset browser has been revamped to offer faster workflow and improved recall for your favourite sounds. Extensive tagging and a newly-designed search function let you find the right sound for your production quickly and easily before favouriting your sound to recall in future sessions with ease. With over 2,000+ presets on offer including over 250+ newly designed presets for Oddity 3, you are provided with the expertise and abilities of highly-regarded sound designers at your fingertips. For users of previous iterations, all 1,750 legacy presets from Oddity MKI and Oddity MKII are included and provided with full tagging systems for easy navigation in your sessions. Whether you're a beginner looking to dive into production-ready tones or a studio veteran looking for a creative spark, the presets onboard GForce Oddity3 provide something for everyone.
