Simulating natural reverberation is something that can take your sound to the next level. An organic reverb is hard to achieve because of the many complexities of reflections and acoustic environments. The Befaco Spring Reverb delivers an organic sound thanks to its integrated spring and premium-grade components.
A sound is passed through the built-in spring, passed on to the two transducers at either end. This causes the spring to expand and contract, virtually turning it into a breathing component. This results in a series of reflections, combined with the original sound to simulate the classic reverb effect.
The spring reverb is perfect for sound design and live performances. You can add texture to the sounds you make, providing added depth for any source audio.
The integrated high-pass filter provides added control for your reverb. This filters out the low-end sound for a more focused result. This can be useful for a shaping the tonality of your reverb. You can use tit to control the colour of the reverberation or for taming the saturation caused by the spring during feedback.
The classic-style VU meter provides visual indication of your wet output. This allows you to see your signal levels at a glance. Not only does it look good, but it provides quick visualisation of your levels even in low-light environments.
Two CV inputs allows you to use the module with external signal sources such as synths, samplers and more. There are also two audio inputs for use with external audio, perfect for adding reverb to inputted sound sources.
a Mix and Mix CV connection are also included, accompanied by a Wet output. The Wet output comes straight from the reverb tank and the Mix, provides a mix of the dry signal and other output of the reverb tank.
