A timeless sound
Offering a distinctive sound with a huge dynamic range, the Wurli V brings bright harmonics and edge to the timeless sound of the electric piano. Now, detailed physical modelling puts every nuance into the virtual space. Now with more flavours of unique timbres and sonic space, Wurli V can accurately reproduce any Wurli or produce otherworldly soundscapes. It's easier than ever to seamlessly inject the sound of the 60s and 70s into modern tracks with the Wurli V. Its characterful sound earned the respect of many artists including Pink Floyd, The Small Faces, Three Dog Night, Josef Zawinul, Norah Jones, Alan Parsons, Supertramp, and more. Now you can capture the same inspiring sounds.
Authentic control
The main interface featured on Wurli V is an experience authentic to the original. Although offering a modest range of controls, you'll also get access to an array of effects and an amp. Four slots for modelled effects help you to define your sounds with a distinctive retro charm, enjoy flanger, phaser, chorus, analog delay, compression, overdrive, and more. Then run the signal through a detailed combo amp model, choose from multiple mic types, or bring some motion to the Wurli sound with the Leslie.
Advanced panel
Combining both vintage authenticity and modern convenience, Wurli V takes the original further than ever before. Dive into the guts of the Wurli and tweak the components to perfection. The result is a nuanced sound design palette that goes beyond the signature Wurli sound whilst retaining its gorgeous character. The advanced panel reveals precise control parameters that only meticulous physical modelling can accomplish. You'll find a ten-band graphic EQ, eight harmonic profiles, the ability to simulate different vintages and conditions with hammer hardness and noise parameters, control mechanical chatter on key release, and even optimise your playing with a multi-point velocity curve. Finally, as a highly CPU-efficient virtual instrument, Wurli V never needs tuning or maintenance.
Powered by technology
Using proprietary modelling algorithms, Wurli V is able to recreate the iconic instruments down to the component parts to create unrivalled realism and immersion. Unmatched in analog emulation, Wurli V is powered by TAE and Phi technologies. TAE offers component-level modelling to accurately present the characteristics and behaviour of the instrument, whilst Phi's state-of-the-art physical modelling brings the acoustic properties into the virtual world for hyper-realism. The result is truly a next-level sound that is indistinguishable from the original to add to your productions.
