Simple, flexible, authentic
With all the tonal control of the original Clavinet, the Clavinet V offers a simple and flexible workflow to produce a range of sounds from full and mellow, to sharp and nasal, or anywhere in between. To achieve this, four filter switches emphasize different parts of Clavinet V's frequency range. Take even more control of timbre and tone with the selection of pickup switches, you can choose to hear one pickup or the other, both in phase, or both out of phase. Furthermore, Arturia has modelled the physical mute mechanism to dynamically affect both sustain and brightness.
Advanced panel
Fine-tune all the electro-mechanical nuances of the original Clavinet and beyond with the powerful advanced panel. Under the hood is a range of modern conveniences such as the ability to change Clavinet V's entire sonic character with distinct harmonic profiles, adjustable variables like string resonance, key-off noise, hammer hardness, and more, plus response definition to optimise your playing style in a velocity curve editor.
Stompbox slots and amp
All included within a single plug-in, take sounds to the next level with a range of powerful stompbox effects and twin amp emulation. The effects on offer include authentic vintage phaser, flanger, chorus, delay, overdrive, and compressor pedals. There is even a unique vocal filter for talkbox effects. Plus, of course, there is wah-wah that can either be controlled with a MIDI-assignable pedal or auto-wah for classic funky dynamics. The modelled twin-style amp emulation offers three-band EQ, reverb, tremolo, and heaps of character to push your sounds up a notch.
Powered by TAE technology
Using proprietary modelling algorithms, Clavinet V is able to recreate the iconic instruments down to the component parts to create unrivalled realism and immersion. Unmatched in analog emulation, Clavinet V is powered by TAE and Phi technologies. TAE offers component-level modelling to accurately present the characteristics and behaviour of the instrument, whilst Phi's state-of-the-art physical modelling brings the acoustic properties into the virtual world for hyper-realism. The result is truly a next-level sound that is indistinguishable from the original to add to your productions.
