AcouFoam Panel
The AcouFoam Acoustic Panel by Gear4music, 100x50cm has balanced density and porosity for optimum sound absorption. Tried and tested, this tile is composed of a carefully selected open cell polyurethane foam that is known to improve sound in most audible frequencies. This acoustic tile has been cut into a pyramid style that increases surface area and in turn maximises dispersion and absorption, making it most effective for medium to high frequencies.
The lightweight nature and size of this tile means you can play around with different placements and ensure you are capturing the right frequencies, making it ideal for monitoring purposes in a studio, as well as soundproofing live rooms. This acoustic foam tile can also be used on ceilings to reduce deflected sound and therefore improving acoustics in open spaces. Machine cut for a precise pyramid style finish, this dark grey acoustic panel has been designed to be easy to fit together, with multiple units side by side creating a uniform look. Can be fixed with surface adhesive, tapes and hook & loop fasteners.
These affordable tiles are also available in great value packages that offer the complete sound absorption required in home audio engineering environments.
Available in packs of 4 or in a room kit with sound isolation pads and bass traps, there is sure to be something suitable for your space.
AcouFoam Bass Trap
Improve your room's sound. These foam bass traps provide effective acoustic treatment, so you can ensure your mix translates well onto other sound systems. They're also great for customising your live room's echo, for cleaner and more controlled recordings.
The corners in rooms typically produce build-ups of low- and mid-frequency sounds. These mean you aren’t hearing your speakers accurately and can result in mixes that sound incorrect on other speakers. The foam bass traps are designed to absorb these troublesome frequencies, so they don't interfere with your mix.
Tried and tested, this acoustic treatment is composed of a carefully selected open-cell polyurethane foam. The corrugated design increases the bass traps' surface area, improving the effectiveness and maximising sound absorption.
The lightweight material makes for easy installation. The bass traps can be fixed using surface adhesive, tapes, and hook-and-loop fasteners. They fit snugly in corners and are even fire retardant to furniture standards.
These products meet the requirements of Schedule 1 Part 1 (Ignition test for polyurethane foam in slab or cushion
form) of The Furniture and Furnishings (fire) (safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended)
