The AJH Dual LFO & VCA, Silver is a compact module that features 2 independent LFOs with adjustable waveshapes, and a DC coupled VCA with a linear response curve. The Dual LFO & VCA features triangle and square wave outputs for each LFO, with attenuators for changing waveshape and rate. This allows you to transform the triangle and square wave into a sawtooth, ramp wave, and anything in between. LFO 1 features an additional sync (reset) input allowing you to restart the waveform, which is ideal when using a MIDI to CV converter. The module's VCA is normalised, allowing you to add variable depth modulation to VCO and VCF modules. Additionally, the VCA responds to control voltage, which allows you to modulate the levels of the LFO without having to patch in other modules.

The AJH Dual LFO & VCA includes 2 independent LFOs. Each LFO features a triangle and square output for you to patch into. The “shape” knob allows you to continuously vary the actual waveshape, which results in different movements. You can also adjust the frequency/rate of the LFOs with the “rate” knob to create longer or short LFO movements. When the shape knob is set to full clockwise or counterclockwise, the max frequency will go up to the audio range, to as high as 1kHz. The sync (reset) output enables you to restart the triangle and square wave from a sync waveform with a fast leading edge (eg. squarewave). This is useful when using slower modulation speeds. For example, a gate or trigger from a MIDI to CV converter can be used to reset the start of a waveform with each new key press.
The VCA is DC coupled, and also features a linear response curve, making it ideal with modulation sources. It allows the modulation level of the LFO to be voltage controlled without having to patch in other modules. The VCA input is normalised to the triangle output of LFO 2. This makes the output from LFO 2 automatically available from the output of the VCA. When a signal is patched into the VCA input, it defeats the normalisation. This means that the signal patched into it would be routed through the VCA instead, allowing you to control modulation from an external module.
The layout and design of the Dual LFO & VCA makes it ideal for live performance. AJH have carefully designed it so your cables stay out of the way when adjusting knobs and switches. All the patch points are positioned at the bottom of the module, whilst all the knobs are at the top, leaving you free to make adjustments without getting caught on any cables.
