View Full DescriptionThe Mackie 2404VLZ4 is a professional mixing console equipped with the tools you need to get very the best out of your live sound, without the need for external effect and dynamic processing units. "Built-like-a-tank" build quality makes the 2404VLZ4 a road hardy, gig ready mixing console offering incredible audio quality alongside rock solid reliability.
Channel input on the 2404VLZ4 is courtesy of the highly acclaimed Mackie Onyx high-headroom, low-noise preamps. A dedicated in line channel compressor is included on the last four microphone inputs, increasing dynamic control and flexibility even further. Every channel is equipped with a 3 band midrange sweep-able EQ- six auxiliary sends (pre & post) are also included for routing of signals to internal effects, external effects or to monitor mixes. Four subgroup busses are included (channel assignable) for the sub mixing of channels- each bus being provided with its own output, insert point and dedicated internal compressor for total dynamic control. 48v phantom power is also provided to allow for use of condenser microphones and active DI boxes.
An integrated 32-bit RMFX+ internal effects unit provides 24 different "gig ready" effects, from lush reverbs to thickening choruses and even a user programmable tap delay. For analogue/digital flexibility, the 2404VLZ4 features a built in 24-bit USB audio interface allowing the user to stream subgroups or master L/R to your PC or Mac for recording, or even use your favorite software plug-ins live via auxiliary sends 5/6. The USB connection also facilitates a stereo return to mains for music playback or FX/processing returns.
With level, pan, solo and overload/mute LEDs included on every channel alongside a 60 mm long-wearing fader, the 2404VLZ4 offers finger tip control over audio mixing- visually high contrast controls give instant "at-a-glance" feedback making operation intuitive and fast. Everything is built into an incredibly robust and stiff powder coated steel chassis, providing protection from knocks, shocks and drops.
