Unlike other ring lights, the Elgato Ring Light doesn’t use an LED light array. Instead, Elgato has opted for the higher-quality OSRAM LED design, providing superior lighting articulation, better lumen rating and overall visual quality. Providing soft and cinematic lighting, the Elgato Ring Light uses two diffusion layers to provide a vibrant glow. Featuring an edge-lit design, light is directed across the back panel for optimised diffusion. The light’s design also uses high-grade opal glass to blend beams of light for a more refined result.
The edge-lit design also helps to protect your eyes, perfect for long filming sessions. You can also choose between a variety of colour settings. The colour settings span 2900 – 7000K, allowing you to achieve everything from sunset-style amber to artic-style blue tones. No matter the environment, the Elgato Ring Light empowers you to get the aesthetic you desire.
Onboard, wireless and computer controls
You can control the ring light in a variety of ways for maximum flexibility. The onboard controls allow you to tweak colour and brightness with precision, providing an incremental control.
