About Beyerdynamic
Founded by Eugen Beyer in 1924 shortly after he moved to Berlin, Beyerdynamic began as 'Elektrotechnische Fabrik Eugen Beyer', originally producing and developing amplifiers and loudspeakers deigned for the first movies with sound around 1926. Roughly 10 years later in 1937, the company released the first pair of dynamic headphones to hit the market - the DT 48s - which were consistently produced right up until the end of 2012 with very few changes made. Since the day the company was born, Beyerdynamic have been committed to creating high-performance professional audio products, as well as becoming and remaining the technological leaders of their field with a plethora of technical achievements in recording and sound-reproduction. More than ninety years after its foundation, Beyerdynamic still develops premium headphones and microphones in Germany whilst still under ownership of Eugen Beyer's family. Each of Beyerdynamic's professional products are carefully handcrafted in the South-German city of Heilbronn. The company's talented employees not only manufacture Beyerdynamic's outstanding products, they also keep a very close eye on the quality of each and every piece of equipment right up until it leaves the building. When you buy from Beyerdynamic, you are buying truly exceptional quality with world-renowned professional reliability.
