Behringer DSL1 LED Derby and Strobe Lighting Effect Overview
The Behringer DSL1 is a 2-in-1 Derby and Strobe lighting effect, designed to get the party started. With four RGBW 3W LEDs, the Derby produces vibrant swathes of colourful light, creating kalidoscopic effects fit for any dancefloor. The Strobe uses 16 white LEDs producing lighting flashes of light that will add a visual edge to your music.
Of course the real fun happens when you combine these two effects together, creating exciting, dynamic lightshows. These can be controlled via a range of different modes: DMX for integration with other lights, master/slave for combination with another fixtures, or light-to-music to let the beat control your visuals. There's also standalone modes - three AUTO and 20 strobe - which are controlled by the included IRC1 remote.
You'll find the DSL1 is ideal for parties, DJ sets, or any event that needs a splash of colour. It can be used as a portable fixture, rugged enough to haul from venue to venue, but can work well as a permanent staple too. The attached bracket makes ceiling or truss mounting easy work, so it will stay safe and secure when in use.

Two effects in one
Why have separate Derby and Strobe fixtures? Why not combine them? Behringer's DSL1 does just that.
By combining the two effects it creates an impressive light show in a compact package. Use them one at a time, at the same time with independant control, or both controlled together at once. In other words: an unlimited range of vibrant, exciting visuals - all at your fingertips.
Take control, however you want
Whatever your setup, the DSL1 will have a control mode to suit you. If you want to take a step back and let it do its thing, there's a range of standalone modes available. And if you're not feeling the current setting, it's easy to change with the included IRC1 remote.
For more indepth control you can use DMX mode, allowing you to integrate the DSL1 into a larger rig. There's a master/slave mode too, allowing you to pair this fixture with another so they can work in tandem. To top it off, you can simply let the DSL1 follow the beat with a sound detecting music-to-light mode.
