Product Ref: 226095
Play piano with greater expression and control. Just like an acoustic piano, the SDP-4's lower keys have a greater resistance, while the high keys are lighter and more featherweight. It's an ideal portable piano for advancing musicians or students, and transitioning to an acoustic piano will be much easier.
For increased expression, the SDP-4 Complete Pack includes three pedals – soft, sostenuto and sustain. Each has a solid feel with a brass finish, and provides distinctive sound and technical possibilities. The soft pedal (also know as Una Corda) provides a quieter, mellow sound, while the sustain pedal provides luxurious, thick harmonies. The sostenuto pedal is especially useful when you play complex music, allowing you to keep a note sounding while you reach for another key.
Every note you play sounds dynamic and expressive. The detailed sample-based piano sound means that – just like an acoustic piano – the timbre changes as you play louder. With 20 high quality voices, the SDP-4 is versatile enough for all your performance needs. Simply use the buttons to choose between pianos, organs, strings, guitars, and more.
Easily adapt your sound to suit your exact specification. The SDP-4 also comes with adjustable reverb, chorus and EQ effects - ideal for the stage or studio. You can even record up to five of your own compositions with the built-in memory, so you can play them back again later.
As well as that, the piano has options to transpose, layer two sounds, and split the keyboard into two separate voices. There's also a useful Twin Mode which divides the keyboard in half – so students and teachers can play together at the same pitch. All this is easily navigated through the LCD screen.
Effortlessly add stylistic accompaniments to your music. Choose from 50 different styles – from blues to waltz – then play a chord in your left hand. The piano accompaniment will begin, playing in your selected style. To change things up, there's also a Fill A/B button. Simply press it to play a fill-in pattern and spice up the rhythm. The accompaniment will then lead smoothly into a B section of the music. Useful for replicating a musical style and playing improvised music.
Instantly perform through a PA or amplifier, using the auxiliary output. Alternatively, practise using the two headphone outputs, for quiet practise for up to two players. There's also an auxiliary input, so you can jam along to your favourite music or backing tracks. The SDP-4 is a versatile MIDI controller for playing sound modules, synthesizers and virtual instruments. You can also use it with music software on your Mac or PC, via the USB-to-host connection. Record MIDI and audio signals, for high quality recordings of your compositions and performances.
The SDP4 complete pack comes with an attractive wooden frame including three pedals for maximum expression.
The sleek and elegant piano stand is matched with sturdiness, making it perfect if the piano is being used in a fixed position. The top mounting position holds the piano in place very securely. The stand also includes a pedal board with a cable that attaches straight in to the keyboard.
