AiX sound technology
At the heart of the CT X700 is Casio the AiX sound source. The Acoustic Intelligent Xpression (AiX) technology reproduces the tonal characteristics of acoustic instruments to create the most authentic sounds and dynamics. AiX is a massive leap forward in sound technology and quality and offers more than you would ever expect from a mid-range keyboard.
Meticulously designed with high-quality tones across every category of instrument, the sound source faithfully reproduces subtle nuances and gestures specific to each type of sound. You can even customise tones by using the 100 DSP effects that combine various algorithms, three system effects (reverb, chorus, and delay), and ten equaliser presets.
Bring in the band
Thanks to the vast library of voices in the CT X700, you will never be short of sounds. If you're looking for a piano sound, then sit down and perform on the meticulously-recorded 9-foot grand in a virtual concert hall. Looking for a woodwind instrument? Then play a flute, trumpet, or saxophone, and hear natural breath and vibrato. How about something more brassy? Choose a bass instrument and hear the player switch techniques based on how hard you press the keys. This huge library of sounds delivers a new sense of realism.
To get the beat going, the CT X700 also includes hundred of built-in rhythms. The variety of rhythms span the globe as well as the history of popular music. Within the collection, you will find old classics as well as chart-topping hits - all played with incredible accuracy and realism. What's more, the drum kits come alive with a mixture of acoustic drums, vintage drum machines, and a massive collection of extra percussion instruments and sound effects.
Modern functionality
The six-track song recorder allows you to build exciting compositions and recordings. The CT X700 even has a driver-free PC Connection which easily links to a Mac, iPad, or PC with music writing software. What's more, the Harmonize/Arpeggiator function adds extra accompaniment and supplementary harmonies. Having 32 registration memories, the CT X700 allows you to recall your favourite sounds and rhythms easier than ever - ideal for live performances. If you wish to play along with your favourite songs, you can plug your media player into the mini-jack connector.
