Versatile VH5+ Pickups

The Revstar comes equipped with two VT5+ pickups deployed at the neck and the bridge, which ensure complete dynamic sensitivity and articulation, for brilliant tonal balance and intricate nuances. Utilising alnico V magnets and a low-output they achieve a delightful vintage-inspired sound. A three-way switch gives access to the stronger bridge position sounds, mellow neck sounds, and combined-coil depth, all of which are ideal for exploring new sonic horizons.

Amazing hardware additions

This Yamaha electric guitar comes attached with an abundance of features which add those all-important final touches to the instrument. A Bigsby B50 tremolo provides access to additional subtle inflictions through the use of brilliant vibrato. When the B50 is working in combination with Locking Die-Cast tuning machines and an original aluminium tailpiece the guitar possesses incredible tuning stability, keeping every note accurate and precise throughout your whole performance.

Dry switch split humbuckers

An additional Dry Switch is accessed via the Push/Pull tone control and provides the sound of a split-humbucker for a delicate single-coil tone. It achieves this using a passive filter which is designed to give the perfect frequency response. By filtering out the low frequencies, this switch gives the punch and clarity of a single-coil minus the associated hum and often "hollow"-sounding tone from splitting a humbucker. This gives you a far more balanced and usable single coil tone, radically expanding the tonal potential of this guitar.
