The pinnacle of performance. Humbuckers offer a higher output compared to single coils, meaning they give you a powerful sound with plenty of tonal goodness to go with it. Every lick you play through these will ring out with a punchy voice which expresses each note perfectly. The bridge pickup is perfect for rhythm, giving you that crisp, crunchy sound which sounds super tight. The neck pickup offers smooth saturation for your lead licks, helping to sustain your string bends and bring out a rich fullness in your licks.
Having smooth playability makes all the difference. Which is why Squier have adapted their clsssic construction in this model. The ''C''-shaped neck fits snug in your hand making it easier for you to slide up and down the neck. Reap the benefit of silky-smooth playability that makes for easier fretting, riffing, and soloing. Plus, the Bullet Mustang's maple neck injects your tone with distinctive brightness and subtle sustain too. So, you won't only fall in love with the look of this guitar, but the experience of it as well.
The Fender Mustang was originally created in the '60s as a student instrument due to its shorter (24'') scale length, which provides a smaller distance between the frets and a "slinkier" string feel for easier bends and vibrato. The Mustang found popularity several decades later with rock and indie players, and today the Squier Bullet Mustang gives many more players access to the Mustang's unique aesthetics and easy playability for both students and professionals alike.
There's nothing worse than having to re-tune your guitar before each song you play. Thankfully, the Squier Bullet Mustang ensures you no longer experience such problems. Equipped with a 6 saddle modern hardtail bridge, you can be certain that your intonation and tuning stability remains at its peak. What this means, is that you can spend less time tuning, and more time playing.
Additionally, the Bullet Mustang is fitted with a set of standard cast/sealed tuning machines. So, you when you do need to tune, you can adjust your strings with superb accuracy, and sound your best in no time. Too often is such a fundamental factor overlooked, but luckily Fender know its importance better than anyone. As a stylish touch, all hardware is complete with a luxury chrome finish to add to the vintage Fender aesthetic.
Total Guitar Magazine gave the Squier Bullet Mustang HH 4-1/2 stars out of 5:
"Meanwhile, the 12-inch radius, rosewood ’board is pancake flat and makes string bends simple for even the most sausage-fingered player. The C profile neck is also extremely comfortable to hold, while the satin finish makes fretboard-spanning licks a doddle.
By today’s standards, £120 is practically peanuts to spend on a new guitar. For Squier to cram in the features it is, with the overall levels of build quality on display, is seriously impressive."
