The Stiletto Extreme's body has been constructed from a high quality mahogany and then topped with quilted maple. When combined, these materials produce powerful tones that can keep up with anything. Its mahogany body offers naturally rich, warm tones, with a balance of grind and bite to create tights lows and appealing highs. The wood offers the bass excellent amounts of depth and helps provide an incredible sustain. The Stiletto has been finished black chrome hardware, crème binding, and a black cherry colour that shows off the natural figuring of the maple.
Thanks to its bolt-on neck, you are provided with a tightness that cuts into the bass’s tone, delivering an edge of sizzle to the highs and firmness to its lows. The maple wood used to sculpt the neck provides bright characteristics to the overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. Adding a rosewood fingerboard helps to fur up to the maple’s sound, whilst contributing to its smoothness. When combined, these two woods bring warmth to the bass's tone, adding sparkle to the highs, thickness to the lows, and opens up the mids.
