The CE bolt-on series

Delivering additional high-end tang and twang, the PRS bolt-on CE series offer a brighter and crisper response when compared to set-neck models. First launched way back in 1988, PRS's bolt-on guitars offered a tonal alternative to their main guitars, in addition to an easier route for customisation.

Discontinued in 2009 but back by popular demand, the bolt-on series offers you the classic PRS experience with all the hallmarks of their renowned USA workshop.

Classic but versatile tones

This limited-edition version of the CE24 is equipped with 57/08 pickups, voiced to capture the sought after tones of vintage PAF humbuckers. Made with alnico II magnets and boasting a smooth, creamy response, you can expect a range of balanced frequencies with exceptional clarity.

Not only are they authentic to late '50s pickups, but thanks to PRS's examination of the original wire making machines, they've been able to recapture those classic and coveted sounds while improving the consistency and overall tonality.

Top-tier PRS playability

Designed to help you excel, the CE24's Pattern Thin neck shape is a comfortable fit for virtually any style of playing. With plenty of access at the neck joint for top-end soloing and a slender profile near the nut, it's ideal for creative lead and rhythm work. And with its silky-smooth satin finish, you'll find navigating the 24 medium jumbo frets to be seamless and fluid.

This riffing freedom is backed up with the expression and reliability of a PRS-designed tremolo bridge. Add in shimmering and soaring vibrato with minimal tuning impact thanks to its high-quality components and matching PRS low-mass machine heads.

This CE24's enchanting Fire Red Burst finish and book matched flame maple top is nothing short of stunning. It's certainly going to catch eyes on stage, with the natural maple binding adding that touch of class while the uncommon ebony fretboard complements the aesthetic with its natural dark beauty.
