The Line 6 Powercab Plus is a unique active speaker system that delivers an authentic amp-in-the-room performance when paired with modelers, profilers, or amp-simulation pedals. Using new technology developed by Line 6, players can essentially load a different speaker type into the 1x12'' speaker cab with a push of a button. The addition of a flat mode provides the Powercab 112 with a natural frequency response with plenty of headroom, making it ideal for connecting modelers and producing your own unique sound.

Custom Speaker Setup

To ensure the Line 6 Active Speaker System can deliver its extensive range of tonal possibilities, Line 6 added a custom-made speaker setup, ensuring players receive a truly versatile performance. Its single 12’’ custom hybrid coaxial speaker is accompanied by a lightweight cone and high-temperature 2’’ voice coil, ensuring the amp delivers the punch and dynamic response of a classic guitar amp with the extended range of a PA speaker, adding unparalleled sound and response to any performance.

Road-Worthy Construction

Built for players on the road, the Line 6 Powercab is designed with a whole host of road-worthy appointments to satisfy the needs of touring musicians. Its lightweight and sturdy plywood construction features unique curved backs, enhancing its rigidity while ensuring it survives life on the road. Its small design and light weight also makes carrying the amp from gig to gig incredibly easy, while its 250 watts of output still deliver plenty of headroom to suit small clubs and medium sized venues. The addition of a flip out kickstand allows players to angle the speaker towards themselves, using it in the backline or as a frontline monitor.

Excellent Connectivity

To provide the ultimate playing experience, the Line 6 Powercab 112 Plus is equipped with a variety of inputs and outputs to ensure it can be incorporated into a wide range of rigs and setups. Its XLR output features mic emulators for feeding front of house, while its 16-bit low-latency stereo USB audio interface supports both 44.1kHz and 48kHz sample rates, allowing players to connect the amp to all major DAW software along with iPad & iPod devices. Also equipped with MIDI support, as well as control change messages, the Line 6 Active Speaker System provides you with complete control over its global functions and settings, while also offering extensive preset editing capabilities. A unique feature of the Powercab Plus is its digital I/O, allowing the powered cabinet to connect to any professional modeler equipped with AES/EBU capabilities, reducing latency and noise levels for the ultimate performance. A L6 Link is also added, allowing players to connect their Line 6 Helix guitar processor.
