You'll find the laurel fretboard is more than smooth enough for you to play in complete comfort, and the maple neck is sleek and easy to navigate. With three control dials, you'll also have plenty of tonal options at your fingertips. The volume knob also has a push/pull function to change between active/passive voicings. This is one bass which you simply won’t want to put down once you've started playing.

Sharp precision. Each pickup in the JS2 Spectra was designed to bring out the best in this bass's raw, powerful sound. A Jackson J-Style in the bridge offers warmth and a clean tone for creating booming, bold basslines, so you can make your music with flair and style. The P-Style in the neck also pumps out a warm, wonderful tone, and is perfect for adding a touch more mellowness to your music.
That's not all. On top of these effective pickups, there's a push/pull control on the volume knob to change between an active and a passive voicing for the humbuckers. The active voicing emits a high output sound, which is crisp and powerful, whilst the passive voicing is slightly lower output with a more rounded tone. As such, you'll find that you have all the sonic tools you need to write basslines your way.
Rach every note. Thanks to the one piece maple neck on this glorious bass, you'll be able to slide your fretting hand up and down the neck with ease. The satin finish further increases smoothness, providing you with the means to play faster songs/basslines more comfortably. There's also a laurel fretboard atop the neck, which provides a nice, bright resonance and will help to sustain each note you play.
