Key Features
The Mirror Image Delay has three distinct delay types, all of which are ready to deal with everything you challenge it with. Ready to produce, Digital, Analogue, and Tape delays, alongside the additional variation of the Dotted 1/8 mode, which creates a tone reminiscent of U2’s iconic delays. The pedal is built to offer you this versatility with an incredibly straightforward interface, which consists of five dials all of which have dictation over individual aspects of each delay.
Versatility is something this pedal offers up in abundance. We already know about its wide selection of delay types, but when you combine this with two individual settings for each effect, then you have an almost unparalleled selection of sounds to choose from. The Tape delay gives your sound some additional colour as it deteriorates after every repeat, exactly the way a traditional tape delay would work. The analogue gives toom for warm modulation that broods with rich tonality. And the digital delay feels artificially heightened, as it should do, echoing that sought-after 70s and 80s vibe.
The Mirror Image has a rugged and lightweight aluminium chassis with a brushed metal finish. This gives it both road-ready durability and a classy aesthetic that can take pride of place on your pedalboard. The pedal is built by Fender, who have a vast well of experience in amplifier design and you can be sure that this pedal will last a lifetime of gigging, rehearsing and recording.
The jewel LED light not only looks great, but it also adds a handy on-stage visual indicator of the pedal's operation. The pedal has a clever battery compartment door: a magnetic latch which means you can easily change the battery with no fiddly screws to worry about.
This is a thoroughly professional pedal - both in tone and appearance - and would make a welcome addition to your pedalboard.
