Key Features
The Fender Brad Paisley Esquire is designed in collaboration with country music icon Brad Paisley. Across his 20+ year career Brad has released a bucket load of no.1 singles, won three Grammy Awards, countless CMA awards and so much more etching his name into the legend of country music. Now you too can push the boundaries and limits of tone, tempo, and technique with a stunning companion that provides you with iconic twang and characterful tones to accompany you on your journey.
The beauty of this guitar starts with an undeniably exquisite black sparkle nitro lacquer finish that hugs the finest Paulownia wood with a custom black and paisley pickguard. The neck is a 9.5'' radius, enhanced V-shaped maple that provides smooth fret travel and better finger extension, moulding perfectly to the contour of your hand. Two custom pickups, including Brad Paisley's own Seymour Duncan Secret Agent, gift you the spirited tone and twang that you've always desired.
To finish it off, the vintage-style road-worn hardware and body bring personality to your new companion, breathing fresh character into a model of guitar that has been popular ever since the 1950s. The Brad Paisley Esquire strikes the perfect balance between classic style and looks with modern features that allow you to keep on innovating, just like the artist that gives the guitar its namesake.

The Esquire tale begins in the 1950s, being the first solid-body offering from Fender. Soon after its release, Fender revealed a two-pickup variant that they named the Broadcaster, but when Gretsch requested they remove the name due to their drum kit already claiming the title, Fender changed the name to Telecaster. As a result of this, the Esquire took a backseat to its flashy younger sibling, but for years it was beloved by country artists due to its top-end capabilities with increased treble, or twang, simplicity in function, and the one pick-up design that brings a charm and aesthetic not achievable with any other model. Now Fender and Brad Paisley have evolved the historic country icon once more.
In the neck position of the Brad Paisley Esquire is a secret weapon that adds extra tonal versatility but doesn't take away from the lovable, aggressive vibe of an Esquire. Hidden beneath the pickguard is the Seymour Duncan Brad Paisley Secret Agent that delivers you tone from the full vibration of the strings without restricting them via magnetic influence like on a standard Esquire model, picking up every nuance of your finger-picking, chords, or solos. This enables you to gain gritty full tones, without ruining the character and style of the original design.
The first thing you notice on this Esquire is the striking black sparkle, nitro lacquer finish that allows you to fully embrace the country-style similar to artists including Buck Owens and Don Rich. The colour is almost reminiscent of the colour of coal with its slight shimmer and shines to transport you right to the coal mines of West Virginia. The road-worn design of the body and hardware including the oxidisation of the pickups and use of brass bridge saddles floods this guitar with style and warmth, echoing the rich history of country music that will evolve and bleed into your playing style, taking you down new sonic avenues with stability and super accurate intonation. It's a unique tool that is sure to unlock new levels of creativity, bringing you an aggressive yet smooth sound on a classic feeling, yet progressive style of instrument.
The Paisley Esquire is light and extremely playable thanks to its super-lightweight Paulownia body wood. Paulownia wood is not only lighter than standard woods, for those longer sets or studio sessions, it's also a lot more resonant giving you a more full represented tone, and when combined with the custom pickups, but you're also given a tone that is rich, characterful and can work with any song or track you're wanting to play on whether its full chords or blazing solos. It's truly a swiss army tool of a guitar that Brad Paisley and Fender have designed to push boundaries but retain some classic elegance that you'll be addicted to no matter the style.
