The DiMarzio DP155 The Tone Zone� Humbucker Guitar Pickup is a versatile and expressive replacement pickup for the electric guitar. Patented Dual Resonance Coils

Due to imperfect winding techniques, authentic vintage humbuckers typically had a different number of windings in each of their two coils. The differences in output between the coils gave these pickups richer harmonics and greater clarity, but also made them less effective at cancelling hum than pickups with evenly matched coils. To provide the best of both worlds, DiMarzio's patented Dual Resonance coils feature equal windings but are tuned to different frequencies, providing the same lush overtones without compromising hum cancellation.
