This mode therefore offers a different fuzz effect to the Twin-T Scoop which is what makes the Apocalypse so incredible. There is certain to be a fuzz that will suit your own style, that you can then shape even further to customise it. The War Fuzz has full and thick dynamic tones with plenty of sustain for a harmonic fuzz.
This mode is fairly similar to War Fuzz, though it features dual J-FETs for increased girth, resulting in a more open tone. The Dual J-FET mode offers fat, balanced tones that are ideal for the artist looking for a more subtle fuzz effect.
Octave Rect does exactly as it says, and delivers a harmonic, singing octave up tone. It achieves this by summing the bottom and top halves of a waveform in order to present an intense octave up sound that is ideal for creating a versatile and dynamic performance.

Over the years, Death By Audio have provided custom equipment for bands, including U2, Nine Inch Nails and Lightning Bolt. The location where the pedals were made was also used as a live music venue as well as a recording studio.
