The dense and heavy nature of the mahogany body gives this Signature Dean Guitar an impressive amount of sustain and resonance, delivering a warm and overall balanced tone. The mahogany tonewood ensures there is plenty of depth, grind, and bite, offering an incredibly dynamic sound suitable for a wide range of playing styles. Its asymmetrical double cutaway design, along with a bolt-on construction, offers incredible comfort and a smooth performance when accessing the higher frets. The body is finished off with a beautifully stunning and unique 5A quilted maple top, which not only provides a unique aesthetic, but also enhances the overall tone with extra brightness.

USA DMT Revelation 7 Humbuckers

The 7-String Cooley Dean Guitar is equipped with a set of their powerful USA DMT Revelation 7 humbuckers, offering a very dynamic performance with a classic Dean soundscape. Designed with a similar tone to their Time Capsule pickups to capture the biting tones of vintage Dean guitars, these humbuckers offer a hot output and excellent low-end clarity to help remove a muddy sounding low B string.

Floyd Rose Pro 2000 Tremolo

For many years Floyd Rose has been the leading manufacturer and designer of floating, locking tremolos. With a design that has stood strong for over 30 years, the Floyd Rose Pro 2000 locking tremolo allows you to adjust the string tension and pitch with the removable whammy bar to create unique pitch shifting effects. Unlike non-locking tremolo's, the Floyd Rose bridge can make huge changes in pitch while still retaining the initial tuning thanks to the addition of a locking nut at the end of the headstock.

A unique aspect of Cooley's 7-String Quilt Guitar is its captivating rosewood neck and fingerboard, adding a beautifully dark look to the otherwise bright instrument to create a truly stunning aesthetic. Rosewood is a very hard and dense wood, providing a stable performance and delivering an incredibly deep low-end with bright, sizzling highs. Its midrange is slightly scooped to give the overall tone a clear articulation and a rich, warm response, ideal for fingerpicking, strumming, and a flatpicking. The neck and fingerboard also come equipped with Cooley's custom spec profile and 24 jumbo frets, providing extras playing comfort and an enhanced performance.

About Rusty Cooley

Born in 1970, Rusty Cooley is an American guitarist known for his incredible shredding abilities and instructional dvds. After three years of playing, Rusty became a guitar instructor and has since had many successful pupils such as Chris Storey (All Shall Perish) and Mica Roth (Hybreed). Having released solo music and making guest appearances on other bands albums, Rusty Cooley is considered to be one of the fastest guitarists in modern music.
