The Schecter is a well-balanced guitar, going from aggressive crunchy sounds to rich, clean tones, perfect for the modern-day player. The chambered body design gives the guitar an acoustic feel to its sound, providing a full, round tone. The mahogany body offers naturally warm tones, with a touch of bite for creating tights lows and appealing highs. The Banshee-6 incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the hardtail bridge and passes through the body
The 3-piece mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard has been designed with a ”C” shape to offer a smooth, fast play. The naturally oily rosewood fingerboard absorbs stray overtones, offering a rich sound. The mahogany/rosewood combination produces warm, mellow tones with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and an appealing midrange. Also featuring Grover machine heads, a Graph Tech nut, and mother of pearloid block inlays on the fingerboard.
The SuperRock pickups are designed with ceramic magnets and over-wound coils to produce an incredibly high output, offering a huge palette of tones. Producing meaty tones with a well-rounded, controlled bass, the pickups can go from fat humbucking strikes to single-coil clear, bell-like tones. The pickups deliver unique tones that are musical and articulate, giving each note plenty of dynamics. The humbuckers produce a nice bite in the highs, whilst keeping them clear, and when in split coil mode provide vintage tones.
With a Bigsby Archtop B70 Bridge, the Schecter can create incredible pitch bends easily, offering a variety of effects to enhance your playing experience. With a classic design, the Bigsby bridge not only bends notes and chords, but also adds a visual aspect to the guitar. The bridge also features a roller tune-o-matic to keep the string secure, offering excellent string stability with a tight spec tolerance.
