Lightweight Neodymium Drivers

The Aguilar SL-112 Super Lightweight Bass Cabinet in Black is part of Aguilar's SL line of bass cabinets; designed for lightweight performance. It features a neodymium driver, which is a lightweight magnetic material and almost half the weight of traditional ceramic drivers. The driver still has the same tonal range as normal speakers so the only thing you'll be missing is the weight.

Lightweight Yet Rugged Construction

The SL-112 has 12mm Lite Ply construction for the perfect balance of light weight and rugged durability. The cabinet is enhanced by a deluxe strap handle and rubber feet for enhanced portability. At only 11.34 kg, the SL-112 provides the full sound of a 1 x 12'' cab but with a much more manageable weight, ideal for grab-and-go sessions, band practices, and smaller gigs.

Full Frequency Response

The SL-112 combines neodymium drivers with a variable phenolic tweeter. This combination delivers a full-bodied driver tone alongside the crisp articulation of a high-frequency driver, tailored to the exact level you require. The SL-112 delivers a powerful 250 watts at 8 and has a wide frequency response of 37 Hz – 16 kHz. Despite its light weight, the SL-112 has the deep lows, articulate mid-range and smooth treble for which Aguilar is known. One Neutrik Speakon and two 1/4″ inputs make this cabinet the perfect partner for your Aguilar amplifier head.
