Aguilar Amplification was founded in 1995 after Dave Boonshoft (Co-founder) was dissatisfied with the current gear available for bass players and partnered up with Alex Aguilar (Co-founder) to create a one of a kind prototype bass pre-amp.
Little did they know at the time that pre-amp would become the iconic DB 680 and begin their journey to creating some of the highest quality and outstanding sounding bass equipment on the market.
