The late '50s was a seminal era for the Les Paul. It's when it really began to make its name in music. Rock 'n' roll was quickly becoming everyone's favourite genre, and the Les Paul helped forge the sound of some of the genre's most iconic tunes. This Epiphone Les Paul Classic Worn is infused with that sound. Featuring a pair of specially designed Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers, it'll let you play with the classic tone of the past. But it packs an extra punch, too. Wound to produce a higher output than standard vintage pickups, you can be certain that your audience will hear every note you play.
It's in the name: humbucker. They buck the hum often associated with guitar electronics. But you've not played with humbuckers this clear before. They've been through Epiphone's special double vacuum waxing process. Before the covers have been added, the pickups are put into a wax vacuuming system that gets to the heart of the pickup and solidifies every component and part. The covers are then put on, before the pickups are submerged in the wax vacuum for a second time.
All very technical. But what it means is that the pickups are completely sealed, resulting in totally noise-free operation. So crank up the gain all you like - you won't be suffering from any unwanted interference with these humbuckers in your guitar.
Effortless. Riffs and solos will flow naturally from your fingertips when you're playing the Epiphone Les Paul Classic Worn. Its neck has been engineered to provide top level playability. It's got an easy-to-play SlimTaper "C"-shaped profile. This is designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand. So you'll never need to worry about cramp preventing you from playing at your best. And the slick quality of the mahogany wood used for the neck will let you smoothly glide from fret to fret at speed. Playing hasn't ever felt this natural.
