Yamaha DTX Hybrid Extension Pack Overview
The Yamaha DTX Hybrid Extension Pack is able to convert your acoustic drum kit into a modern hybrid drum kit, simply. The package includes a DTX502 Module, 3-zone Snare Pad XP100SD, two mono Pad XP70 and the appropriate holders. The silicone surface of the pads ensures perfect playability. The DTX502 module provides all professional settings for that setup. A huge internal library, including 50 preset drum kits, delivers authentic drum sounds with true variety. Using the two Drum Triggers DT20, you can also use two acoustic drums as trigger pads.

The DTX502 features 691 voices including Yamaha's major acoustic sounds plus an incredible collection of new drum and cymbal sounds licensed from VST developers and optimised for DTX. The DTX502 has the ability to import up to 12 seconds of user waves using the free MusicSoft Downloader application so you can assign custom voices to the pads. The DTX502 is also expandable, so you can add even more pads, pedals, and triggers — and import your own samples. With the free DTX502 TOUCH app, use your iOS device to control your DTX502 module. Now, the DATA MANAGER menu inside the app lets you download free kits that automatically configure your DTX502 module with the optimum settings for your DTX Hybrid Pack.
Laser Technology
Proprietary laser technology analyses drum strokes for a more natural feel and accuracy. You also get advanced features from Yamaha's higher end models like cymbal muting, natural cymbal swells, and smoother snare drumrolls so the kits respond to every nuance of your playing.

Yamaha 10" Snare and 7" Tom Pads
A 10 inch DTX snare pad made of TCS (textured cellular silicone) provides a perfect feel and impressive response. It is also very quiet which makes it ideal for home use. This three zone pad supports open and closed rim shots and you can assign different voices to different zones. A pad controller on the edge can be used to readily control the snare wire tuning and adjust effects.
DT20 Drum Trigger
Also included in this pack is a drum trigger that attached to acoustic drum shells and heads. It detects vibrations during performance and transfers trigger signals to the drum trigger module (sound source module). With the DT20, You can add originality to your drumming performances by not just producing acoustic drum sounds, but also producing sounds contained in the drum trigger module, such as synthesizer sounds, at the same time. You can instantaneously transform a drum practice pad into an electronic drum by attaching the DT20 to it.
