The Rose Brass body has been lacquered to give a mellow sound with plenty of rich overtones. When playing the instrument at the loudest volumes, the instrument has a lively and exciting tone. When played quietly, the instrument is perfectly mellow without sounding loosing tonal quality. The high quality lacquer finish will prevent the instrument from tarnishing for many years.
The Rosedale Tenor Sax has been built to a high standard, using many professional parts to achieve the best feel for the performer. Including perfectly weighted blue steel springs, every key feels even and light while giving a quick release for faster playing. The leather pads with metal resonators and rolled tone holes create a perfect seal, preventing air leaking and therefore a big and bold sound.
The saxophone is included in a package to ensure the performer has everything they need to get going. There is a high quality fabric and leather hard foam case to store and transport the instrument in safely and securely. The case includes an external pocket for accessories and two carry handles for easy carrying.
