Paxman Series 5 Full Double French Horn Overview
The Paxman Series 5 Full Double French Horn has been designed for the professional level player. From the same range as the hugely demanded Paxman Primo and Academy horns, the Series 5 offers great response and a warm, rich sound with immense projection. The yellow brass, detachable bell is capable of producing a bright tone and focused sound with solid core. The Paxman horn is finished in clear lacquer and comes equipped with a back-pack case, mouthpiece and set of oils.

Yellow brass is commonly used as the base metal for brass instruments. A standard mix will contain 70 percent copper for brighter tones and 30 percent zinc for a focused sound with solid core. This combination helps the player to produce sound with very little resistance. Yellow brass is a durable material with high corrosion resistance, keeping the instrument looking and sounding like new for longer.
