Il Cremonese 1715 Model Stradivarius Replica Violin Outfit Overview
The Il Cremonese Stradivari Violin of 1715 was the first official Cremonese Violin, bought by the city of Cremona after Antonio Stradivari's death. Manufactured by the Master violin maker and luthier Xue Ping Hue of Beijing using only the highest quality hand selected materials, this limited edition replica produces unique tonal characteristics, with plenty of power. The one piece maple back with broad horizontal flame, paired with the spruce top of narrow grain allows the player to explore all realms of expression, with a full bodied tone and amazing projection. This is supplied with Larsen Virtuoso strings which provide a warm and rich sound. Also included is a lightweight LG Chen bow and a Negri Classic case in black and blue which is water repellent and has backpack straps.

View Full DescriptionHistory of the Il Cremonese Stradivarius Violin
The Il Cremonese Violin is thought to have been made just over 300 years ago by the great Antonio Stradivari in his workshop based in Piazza San Domenico, Cremona. After his death, the violin made its way around Europe before being purchased by the City of Cremona 224 years later, where it was used in a performance by Giulo Franzetti, who was ravished by the violin's momentous sound quality and projection.
Stunning Tonewoods
The use of maple and spruce is a tried and tested combination used in superior quality violins. This combination produces a focused, powerful sound with plenty of body and tonal warmth, which will only improve over time. The woods are hand selected based on their age and narrowness of grain, before being hand carved for a sound and appearance full of heritage. The distance between the grain affects the resonance of the instrument, with a narrower grain resulting in a more responsive, full bodied and weighted sound with a strong tonal core. The maple back and sides help provide a hard-wearing violin that works with the narrow grain spruce, to provide a unique instrument with incredible response, projection and full tonal body with unlimited potential.

Chinese born LG Chen is an extremely reputable and celebrated bow manufacturer who has had work awarded internationally. He has been awarded two Silver medals at recent major bow making competitions, as well as being the recipient of several Certificates of Merit.
Environmentally Friendly
Many wooden bows are made from Pernambuco wood, which comes from trees deep in the Brazilian Amazon. Without the use of wood in these bows, LG Chen bows are doing their bit to prevent deforestation.
