The SA-47FET is great for vocals. It can handle the large dynamic shifts well without losing detail on the way. It also sounds a little warmer than the tube SA-47, and has a wider dynamic range.

It's ideal for kicks and bass as well. The SA-47FET has much more headroom and a fast transient response so it can handle the high SPL of a kick drum or bass/guitar amp. The SA-47FET can capture powerful sound with fidelity and no distortion.

It has a cardioid polar pattern that makes it ideal for directly capturing sound. The polar pattern means you'll get more of the sound in front, with reduced pickup from the sides and behind.

Clean Recordings

The SA-47FET stops noise from vibrations and handling the microphone, thanks to its included custom shockmount that keeps your recordings clean. You'll also get a leather bag and a flight case to keep it protected during transport and storage.
