Along with its elegant Maple cabinet, the V288 also features a full 88 key Hammer Action keyboard with seven step touch sensitivity, and Soft, Sustain and Sostenuto pedals, which means it doesn't just look like an acoustic piano, it feels like one too. This piano also includes 8 realistic voices, along with 3 adjustable reverb settings and adjustable chorus, as well as a dual sound layer function, so you will always be able to find the right sound for your performance. The V288 has the unique feature of having a built in music stand light. The light is positioned at the bottom of the music stand, and carefully angled to light up the whole page. The light also features a dimmer switch to suit any lighting situation, from pitch black to a light shadow. This feature makes the 288 perfect for any performance situation, from orchestra pit to front room, day or night. This piano also features a two track recording sequencer, a built in metronome and a USB MIDI interface, so the piano can be connected to a computer, which are all brilliant practice tools, making this piano great for beginners and improving amateurs alike.
