Key Features
Product Ref: 76768
The Stiletto Vintage bass features a lightweight Basswood body that delivers a well-balanced, fat tone with plenty of grind, creating an incredibly versatile instrument. The basses body is constructed to produce incredible dynamics and plenty of definition, with a muscular midrange that has a touch of softness to it, giving the bass a slight breathiness to its tone. The Schecter also features an S-Tek bridge, chrome hardware, and a 3-tone sunburst finish to give the bass its vintage look.
The bolt-on Maple neck provides some tightness and cut to the bass’s tone, delivering an edge of sizzle to the highs and firmness to its lows. The Maple wood provides bright characteristics to the overall tone, whilst offering a snappy attack in the midrange. Adding a Rosewood fingerboard helps to fur up to the Maple’s sound, whilst contributing to its smoothness. The Rosewood/Maple combination brings warmth to the guitars tone, adding sparkle to the highs, thickness to the lows, and opens up the mids. The bass guitar also comes with many other features, including Schecter tuners, a Graph Tech nut, and white pearloid dot inlays on the fretboard.
The Stealth bass features a set of Schecter’s diamond pickups, with a Diamond J pickup at the neck, and a Diamond SuperRock MM pickup at the bridge, creating an incredibly versatile guitar. The two pickups offer an excellent attack, delivering a wide tonal range that allows the vintage bass to play anything. Producing a massive low-end response with a sharp high-end growl, the featured pickups are wired with a 2-band EQ for further tweaking.
