Marshall DSL15H DSL Series 15W Guitar Amp Head Overview

The Marshall DSL15H DSL Series 15W Guitar Amp Head is a compact unit with 2 x 6V6 power valves. It manages to pack huge Marshall valve tone in a head weighing not much more than 10kg. Two foot-switchable channels (Classic Gain and Ultra Gain) provide instant gain-switching versatility for a wide range of overdrive levels. They have a shared 4-band EQ for tonal sculpting and there is a Deep Switch for extra low-end girth. The DSL15H has a Pentode/Triode switch which drops the power to 7.5 Watts to help you practise without annoying the neighbours whilst still maintaining great valve tones. This small amp offers real Marshall valve tone in a compact unit - ideal for grab-and-go gigs or jam-sessions.

A Strong Heritage

The 2012 DSL series is based on the classic JCM2000 Dual Super Lead series, first introduced in 1997 and extremely successful until its retirement in 2007. Marshall have introduced this new series based on the DSL100 head as a result of popular demand. It offers real Marshall valve tone in a compact and portable unit.

Dual Channel Versatility

The DSL15H has two channels which can be switched via the footswitch for instant gain-level changes. Each channel has its own volume and gain controls so you can achieve everything from crystal clean through to light break-up, moving onto crunch and all-out tube saturation. This amp is ideal for use with booster pedals and its valves will respond very well to being pushed harder on the input.

Tonal Shaping

The DSL15H has 4 EQ controls for dialling in your perfect settings, along with a voice shift and deep switch for added control over mid and low-range frequencies. The amp's pentode/triode switch lets you cut the power in half and still achieve great valve tone at a much-reduced volume.
