Laminated Maple Body

Like many guitars from Gretsch, the Streamliner features a laminated maple body, with a chambered construction along with a spruce center block, offering a lightweight guitar that is perfect for gigging musicians who play quite frequently. A lightweight spruce center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on rocking stages. A pair of classic 'F' sound holes are also featured, which allow the natural sound to be projected acoustically and provide a classic look that many guitarists associate with the 1950s era. Finally, a double-cutaway design provides optimum access to unreachable higher frets.

Comfortable Neck Profile

A white-bound nato neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile provides a comfortable performance, while the fast-playing 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with elegant pearloid block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets delivers a warm tone and natural feel.

Broad'Tron Pickups

A pair of Broad'Tron humbucking pickups have been especially designed for the Streamliner and offer a high-output, along with robust lows, pristine highs and a throaty midrange for a unique tone sits well in any mix. Players can easily achieve the perfect sound using the traditional control layout, featuring neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching.

Adjusto-Matic Bridge & Gretsch "V" Stoptail

The Gretsch G2622 Streamliner is equipped with an Adjusto-Matic bridge, delivering a great tone and precise intonation with its six individually adjustable string saddles. A stylish Gretsch “V” stoptail tailpiece offers rock-solid tuning stability, sustain and tonal focus, as well as that classic Gretsch look.
