The classic Explorer shape is finished in Silver Sunburst, an interesting choice given that Dethklok's instruments have typically been black. A Mahogany body matches the set Mahogany neck, in a SlimTaper D profile for comfortability and superfast solos. The Phenolic fingerboard ensures a non-porous playing surface that's not likely to show dig marks from strings and, unlike wooden fretboards, doesn't require oil of any other special care.

Master Volume and dual tone controls give you the wide variety of tones that Skwisgaar Skwigelf of Dethklok requires, also thanks to the dual burstbucker pickups.
