Flame Maple Topped Mahogany Body

The E-II Eclipse’s body is crafted from mahogany and features a flamed maple top, enhancing the guitar's natural brightness and creating a unique aesthetic. The mahogany tonewood delivers a soft tone, with plenty of grind and bite to keep it well-balanced and create plenty of depth. The guitar’s appealing high end and full, tight low end ensures the overall tonality remains thick and firm, offering plenty of dynamics to accommodate a variety of musical styles. The body is finished in a tobacco sunburst with cream binding and chrome hardware, creating a visually stunning and classic appearance.

Mahogany Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard

Featuring a mahogany neck to deliver a warm sonic punch, the ESP Guitar’s overall sound is open and relaxed, creating an appealing tone with excellent articulation. The addition of a rosewood fingerboard enhances the mahogany’s natural warmth, creating a mellow tone with the perfect amount of presence in the lower mids. The mahogany and rosewood combination provides the ESP with complex highs, thick, creamy lows, and a punchy midrange.

Seymour Duncan JB & 59 Humbuckers

The set of Seymour Duncan pickups provide the ESP Eclipse with strong tones and plenty of dynamics to accommodate even the harshest playing styles. Set in the bridge position is the Seymour Duncan JB, a truly modern classic pickup known for its hot-rodded design which makes it ideal for any music genre. Its hot output pushes amps for extra sustain and harmonics, creating a tone saturated in full, powerful lows, crisp, detailed highs, and an upper mid bump which adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords. The neck position sports the Seymour Duncan 59, a vintage-voiced humbucker designed to offer versatile tones and a sweet sustain. Selecting this pickup will provide the guitar with full lows, boosted highs, and a smooth, open midrange to deliver full sounding chords and a clear, bright attack.

High-End Hardware

The guitar is finished off with high-end hardware to ensure players receive the best playing experience possible. The Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece offers incredible string stability, enhancing the overall sustain and resonance while the Gotoh locking tuners improve tuning stability and reduces string slippage.
