Versatile Rock/Metal Amp Driven by 6L6GC Tubes

The Powerball II takes the incredible power and versatility of its predecessor and improves it to create the ultimate amp. Driven by four powerful 6L6GC power tubes to deliver a stunning low-end rumble, this 100 watt amp head provides enough power to suit a wide range of venues. Also featuring 6, 8, and 16 ohm impedance, the ENGL E42/2 Amp can connect to any speaker cab. Amongst its incredible power and versatility, the Powerball II Head offers a wide selection of powerful controls, with 4 channels for the ultimate flexibility, bright and bottom switches to boost the frequency range, and presence and depth punch controls to offer further customisation of the amps sound. To ensure players receive the optimum performance, the ENGL Amp is equipped with an electronic power tube monitoring system to protect the tubes from blowing.

Excellent Connectivity

The amp features a range of ins/outs for players to expand their performance, allowing the connection of footswitches to control the amp’s functions without the need to be near the amp. The stereo jack designed footswitch inputs can be used to connect a footswitch to switch between the 4 channels, or connecting ENGL’s Z-9 custom footswitch to manipulate key functions directly. The featured FX loops allows the connection of external stompboxes, with a balanced control to adjust the level the effects unit influences the amp.
