Dean's V guitar shape was created back in 1977 with the idea of having ultimate sustain and tone. Dean believed that the radical string angles could increase the resonance and enhance the tone. This guitar features a V-shaped headstock, which creates extra string length to give the guitar a completely unique sound. The V guitar has been played by many rock icons and has also appeared in multiple music videos, album covers, on stage and on classic rock recordings.
