The Ibanez Iron Label Series are a meticulously designed and professional quality series of 6, 7 and 8 string electric guitars purposely built for modern metal guitar players that feature only the highest quality parts such as active EMG or DiMarzio pickups, Ibanez?s own nitro wizard neck, heavy duty hardware and even killswitches. By stripping back the designs to the basics and working from the ground up Ibanez have built an adept line of heavy metal guitars that cater to your every need and prove to be an outstanding choice for all styles of metal players.

Neck-Through Construction

The incorporation of a neck-thru construction allows the Ibanez Iron Label RGIT27FE to produce advanced sustain and resonance by optimizing the maximum contact between the neck and body joint to allow superior vibration transfer and sustainability perfect for when you need notes to ring out for as long as possible.

EMG 707 Pickups

The Ibanez RGIT27FE wields a dual set of EMG 707 active humbucking pickups which utilize alnico V loaded wide aperture coils to deliver a truly dynamic 7-string tonality. Eliminating the muddy and muffled low B sound of prior 7 string guitar pickups the 707's produce a deep and defined low B response whilst also providing tight, crisp and detailed overall response allowing them to be versatile enough for a huge range of playing styles.

String-Thru Body

The Iron Label RG incorporates a string-thru body to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the tailpiece and passes through the body.

Killswitch

Also featuring an extremely useful and unique killswitch in the electronic circuit the RGIT27FE delivers the ability to add a chopping style effect used by the likes of Eddie Van Halen by simply switching the installed toggle switch next to the volume and tone controls in various patterns to create a range of staccato style effects.

Nitro Wizard Neck

The use of Ibanez's own Nitro Wizard neck allows for the RGIT27FE to be extremely playable and optimized for lead guitarists as the thin nature of the neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords.
