Taylor have refined the classic Dreadnought shape to suit their own needs, producing low-end power, a snappy midrange, and strong, clear treble notes. Whilst still offering the powerful tones that you would normally get from a dreadnought, the redesigned take provides the essence of the balanced Taylor sound. With a blend of power and articulation, this dreadnought acoustic is perfect for flatpickers as well as players who love the traditional guitar shape and tones.

Sitka Spruce and Sapele

The Taylor guitar features a beautiful sitka spruce top that offers a broad dynamic range and a crisp articulation. Sitka spruce is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops as it accommodates numerous playing styles, from aggressive strumming to fingerpicking. This stunning tonewood is contrasted with sapele back and sides, which delivers a consistent and balanced tone with an excellent top-end shimmer. This stunning combination of tonewoods not only provides you with a beautiful guitar, but also offers a great combination of tones.

Intuitive Design Nuances

The finishing appointments across the guitar lend themselves beautifully to the stylish aesthetics and solid functionality of the 150E. The Tusq nut and saddle guarantee that string spacing is upheld perfectly, whilst the sustain produced by the strings is maintained perfectly. Die-cast chrome mini tuning machines retain tuning integrity with absolute precision. A decorative three-ring rosette surrounds the soundhole and a black pickguard protects the body below the soundhole from unwanted picks and scrapes.
