Combining an active NanoFlex under-saddle pickup and a magnetic NanoMAG fingerboard pickup, the DoublePlay's innovative dual pickup system allows for a wide range of sonic possibilities. The NanoMAG pickup produces a rich acoustic tone which is highly resistant to feedback, while the NanoFlex pickup simultaneously detects both the vibrations of the strings and the movement of the soundboard, providing unparalleled natural sound reproduction.

The compact Sonic preamp installs directly into the soundhole of your guitar, removing the need to cut a hole in the frame of the instrument. Despite its small size, it is equipped with an array of features including volume and tone controls and a feedback-killing phase invert switch. However, the most important feature is the ''blend'' control, which allows you to mix the outputs from the two pickups together. Whether you want the NanoFlex's crystal clarity and percussive attack, the NanoMAG's sweet warmth and dynamic range, or any combination of the two, the Sonic DoublePlay allows you to find your perfect tone.

The preamp runs on two 3V cell batteries, with a life of 250 hours, and features an LED which turns on when the battery is low.
